Loyalty Pass

Ogloba Team7 min read

Ogloba's Loyalty Pass program addresses intense banking competition by providing banks with a customer retention tool that delivers rewards through a network of partner retailers. The initiative combines promotional incentives with bank-branded benefits to foster genuine customer loyalty.

How It Works

The platform leverages Bank Identifier Numbers (BINs) to activate promotions exclusively for customers using cards from sponsoring banks. As explained in the content, "the first 6 digits of a BIN code show which bank or institution issued a particular card." This enables retailers to offer targeted discounts—such as "5% off every $100 spent"—only to eligible cardholders, while benefiting all parties: customers receive rewards, retailers gain loyal shoppers who visit more frequently and spend more, and banks retain customers who use their cards more often.

Promotion Configuration

Banks and retailers can customize promotions extensively, setting them for specific weekdays, date ranges, or monthly recurring dates. When multiple promotions overlap, priority settings ensure customers receive the most generous offer available.

Discount and Gift Promotions

Two promotion types exist. Discount promotions offer percentage reductions, tiered scales, or SKU-based discounts with configurable trigger events ranging from unconditional rewards to lucky-draw mechanics. Gift promotions function similarly but provide physical items instead of discounts, with customizable maximum quantities and condition-based scaling.

Additional Controls

The system includes frequency limitations (per card, day, week, or month), store-type parameters, and maximum discount caps to manage promotional spend effectively.

FAQ

It uses Bank Identifier Numbers (BINs) — the first 6 digits that show which bank or institution issued a card — to activate promotions exclusively for customers paying with cards from sponsoring banks.
